Football fever is everywhere.. There's not even a single soul on earth who isnt affected by it including me. Strange isn't it considering the fact that india has never qualified for Finals in the past 50 years and yet we have our best commentrators (Harsha Bhogle) talking about (not cricket) but football. Again we have newschannels pouring out match analysis and stuff when more than 99% of people know not even what an offside rule in football is. But then such is the football fever in India. We want to know more about the game but due to apathetic infrastructure and all we never make it to the world cup. Do you know India went to the semifinals of the olympics in football back in the 50s and it was the best team in Asia. Now it is positioned at an abysmmal 21st position.
